Privacy Policy

Effective July 8, 2026

The short version: Facet has no accounts, shows no ads, and never sells data. Your quiz answers and results stay on your device. The only thing our server ever receives is the topic you type when you ask the AI to make a quiz — plus anonymous technical identifiers needed to run that feature.

What stays on your device

• Your quiz answers, results, and saved quizzes are stored only on your device. They are not uploaded anywhere and are deleted when you delete the app.
• Optional reminders are local notifications — they never leave your device.

What our server receives

Only when you use AI-made quizzes or open a shared quiz link, our server (Cloudflare Workers) processes:

• The quiz topic you type and a content-level flag, used to generate the quiz. Please don't include personal information in topics. Generated quizzes are cached by topic so common topics load instantly for everyone.
• A random install identifier (a UUID created in the app, not tied to you) used solely to apply weekly free-usage limits. It resets if you reinstall.
• A device attestation token (Apple App Attest) proving the request comes from the genuine app, and — for Pro features — a purchase entitlement signature issued by Apple. Neither contains your name, email, or Apple ID.
• Standard technical logs (such as IP address and request time) kept briefly by our hosting provider for security and debugging.

We collect nothing else: no name, no email, no contacts, no location, no advertising identifiers, and no analytics SDKs.

Sharing

Result cards and challenge links are shared only when you choose to share them. A challenge link contains the quiz id and, if you opt to compare results, your result key (e.g. a personality type) — never anything else.

Purchases

Facet Pro is processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.

App Clip

The Facet App Clip follows this same policy: answers stay on the device, and only shared-quiz lookups reach our server.

Children

Facet is not directed at children under 13 and is rated 12+.

Your choices

Deleting the app removes all locally stored data. Because we hold no account data about you, there is nothing server-side to delete beyond short-lived technical logs and anonymous topic caches. Questions or requests: contact@imaigination.art.
